Shekhawati Gramin College Sikar was established in year of 2008 it is one of the oldest college of Sikar situated in Bay Sikar Rajasthan. This college having an area of 1.2355 acres is gradually transforming the academic calendar of the students in this region. It has 1326 students and 34 committed teachers providing a number of undergraduate programs. Shekhawati Gramin College is AICTE approved which follows guidelines of central government and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college boasts a range of learning facilities aiming to improve the learning conditions the college offers to the student. The library is adequately equipped and is, therefore, a important resource center for all academic endeavors. To foster practical learning, the college has other skill based laboratories within departments with brand new and updated apparatus. Understanding the necessity with which new age technology is fostering itself in the education segment, Shekhawati Gramin College backs superior IT facilities. There are playgrounds for the students to manage their time between compound studies and sporting activities. Though the college is fully aware that most of its students have hostels within their respective hometowns, the college provides out-station Students with a separate hostel for boys and girls respectively, fully equipped to offer a comfortable and secure dwelling.

This college provides a total of four Bachelors’ level programs which are all conventional full-time programs. These include two conventional degree programmes: The BA deceived for three years, and the B.Sc also for three years. Two integrated teacher education current programs are also available in the college, namely BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, both four years duration.
