SITE is a Technical Institute popular among students, established in the year 2009 being located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education offers various engineering courses throughout its 11.076 acre land. At SITE Bhubaneswar, most of the admissions are offered based on examinations handled by the institution. Sixty percent of the B.Tech programs are done under the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Fee (OJEE) of which one-third of the total seats are for the state candidates. The remainder 15% of seats are filled through the counseling of JEE Main while 5% seats are reserved for NRI category and are filled by the institute on their own. For the diploma courses offered, the Diploma Entrance Test or DET is adopted as the mode of entry.
