Shija Academy of nursing imphal was started in the year 2006 it is a self financing nursing college for providing nursing education in manipur state of India. This co-educational school is situated at Meitei Langol, Lamphelpat and its area is comprised of 2.3702 acres. The academy is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) this makes the school deliver quality education in nursing. Shija Academy of Nursing currently has 17 faculty members and 114 students enrolment which offer the institution a unique opportunity to provide quality education in a focused area of nursing.

Shija Academy of Nursing currently offers one primary course, following course such as the General Nursing and Midwifery program. This is a three year full time course with an approved capacity for admitting 30 students. The GNM program has been developed to establish the trained nursing personnel with adequate competence in the healthcare system.
