Shikshan Maharshi Dnyandeo Mohekar Mahavidyalaya, Kalamb is one of the affiliated colleges formed in the year 1969 in Osmanabad, Maharashtra. The institution, which is NAAC accredited is spread over 26.3 acres of vast campus. It has the total strength of students being 1,195 and faculty members being 50. It offers a wide range of 14 courses by 6 degree courses. The institute has an almost balanced gender ratio with 2,495 males and 2,095 females. The college offers specialised courses in almost every discipline such as Herbal Technology, Geography, and Botany. Besides, the traditional course programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce are also offered.

It has a UGC-recommended 2.0 Library Automation Software (LIBMAN, Nagpur) with an OPAC facility. A 33-room girls' hostel is available for its female students in the college. The general facilities inside the hostel include solar water systems, mineral water facilities, and inverters for back-up. The college focuses on physical fitness, and a gymnasium with open facilities to students is available free in the mornings and evenings. Dnyandeo Mohekar Mahavidyalaya Shikshan Maharshi offers a wide range of study programmes that cater to the diversified interests and career aspirations of their students. Institute provides 14 courses in full-time under graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The undergraduate courses are designed in BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Sc in Computer Science, and B.Sc in Horticulture. MA courses are available in Geography, Marathi, History. M.Sc programmes are available in Herbal Technology and Zoology. The college provides a Ph.D. in Geography, Zoology, Herbal Technology, and Botany to the candidates who wish to pursue research. The total intake of students for all the courses put together comes to 1,195, thus clearly showing how diligently this institute has worked to preserve an adequate student-teacher ratio in its endeavour toward quality education.
