Shikshan Prasarak Santha’s College of Education, SAS College Sangamner, was established in 1961 The college is named one of the most famous teacher training institutions located in Sangamner, state of Maharashtra. This mixed educational institution, located in a vast area of 52 acres, came under the approval of NCTE-affiliated college as a college. The college has an aggregate of two hundred students while it has only ten faculty members The college offers a specific Bachelor of Education (B.ED.) degree programme. The institute also has a well-developed curriculum and is equipped with modern learning resources to support the quality education training of prospective teachers. 

Shikshan Prasarak Santha’s College of Education offers a wide range of resources in its endeavour to facilitate students’ effective learning environments. The college library has a collection of more than 12415 books, many encyclopaedias, CD cassettes, teaching aids, and a large reading hall. Concerning the technological aspect of the institution, the school has a fully internet-enabled computer laboratory to enable students to have access to e-learning tools. The school also has a special language lab recruiting 30 students for language development.

Shikshan Prasarak Santha’s College of Education admitted 100 students for a full-time B.Ed programme spread over two years after obtaining approval for the enrolment. The purpose of this course is to enable acquired competencies with a view to producing competent trainers.
