Shikshan Prasarak Santha’s College of Education SAS College Sangamner, established in 1961 the College is named as one of the most famous teacher training instituitions located in Sangamner, state of Maharashtra. This mixed educational institution, located in a vast area of 52 acres, came under approval of NCTE affiliatedcollege as a college. The college takes an aggregate of two hundred students while it has only ten faculty members The college offers a specific Bachelor of Education (B.ED) degree program. The institute also has well developed curriculum and equipped with modern learning resources to support the quality education training of prospective teacher. 

This college offers a wide range of resources in its endeavour to facilitate students’ effective learning environment. The college library has a collection of more than 12415 books, many encyclopedias, CD cassettes, teaching aids, and a large reading hall. Concerning the technological aspect in the institution, the school has a fully internet-enabled computer laboratory to enable students have access to e-learning tools. The school also has a special Language Lab recruiting 30 students for Language development. The college also equipped well developed science and psychological lab to help the practical knowledge session. Sport lovers also enjoy the provision of enough outdoor facilities 400 meter athletics, Field events – cricket /football pitch and other indoor ones – volleyball, baseball and hockey. 

Shikshan Prasarak Santha’s College of Education admitted 100 students for a full time B.Ed programme spread over two years after obtaining approval for the intake. The purpose of this course is to enable acquired competencies with a view of producing competent trainers. The academic experience of student development is a characteristic of the college, because the curriculum includes theoretical knowledge and practical teaching experience.

The College of Education affiliated to Shikshan Prasarak Santha has criteria for admission which includes score in the qualifying and/or entrance exam.
