Shiv Kumari Saheb Mahavidyalay, Mau: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shiv Kumari Saheb Mahavidyalay, Mau has been establishing in 2012 and affiliated college situated in Kyamapur, Muhammadabad Gohana, Mau, Uttar Pradesh. This institute has been approved by National Council for Teacher Education Self financed and the institute provides two academic courses in field of education. It is located in a 3.136 acre of area and offer admission to total of 694 students and has a teaching staff of 16 faculties. Being a co-ed school, students of either gender are offered equal chance to participate in any activities. The college is especially dedicated to teacher education and currently has full-time courses in B.Ed and D.El.Ed for the fresher teachers of the area. 

This is true since the institute has various facilities available to foster students learning and development. An adequately stocked library is organised as an information centre where books, titles, national and international journals and magazines related to management and allied fields are available. Reading and research can be comfortably done in any of the libraries because of the relatively quiet environment. Shiv Kumari Saheb Mahavidyalay also possesses a large computer lab with modern tools such as a number of internet accessible computers, printers, UPS etc for 60 students in a hall. Regarding physical exercises and recreation, there are facility for sports which all the students can use. The college retains departmental practical facilities for training purposes in its possession. Furthermore, the visiting faculty guest house or waiting room is also available for students’ families, as well. A campus court is used for occasions and meetings that increase the whole educational process, and an auditorium is used for events and seminars. 

The Shiv Kumari Saheb Mahavidyalay, Mau offers two regular ‘Teacher Training’ courses in the field of education. There are 100 sanctioned intake for the B.Ed programme and the D.El.Ed programme is also offered though the intake capacity is not disclosed. The programmes are 2-year programmes and prepared students as potential educators in their respective areas of specialization. For that the college has aACY of offering teacher education which in turn prepare qualified personnel in the field of education. 

The admission procedure at Shiv Kumari Saheb Mahavidyalay, Mau is completely based on mark obtained through entrance examination and/or previous examination. The selection is done accordingly to the policies set by the Uttar Pradesh government, as well as the university to which the school is connected. For its B.Ed programme, one has to sit for selection tests in accordance with the academic performance of the candidate and as per the policy of the university. Likewise, the admission in D.El.Ed is also merit based on the qualifying examination and any entrance test mandatory by the state government.
