Established in the year 2008, Shiv Savitri Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college at Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. The institution comes with a 5-acre campus, spreading a host of academic programmes for a student in streams. The admission procedure to Shiv Savitri Mahavidyalaya for the other programmes varies. However, candidate admission to the B.Ed. programme will be purely on the basis of merit, with marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policy of the state government and the university. The B.P.Ed. course is also merit-based with entrance examination, which comprises a written test, fitness test, interview, and percentage marks at the qualifying examination. For all other courses, they have followed the normal practices of admitting students based on merit or entrance examination as stipulated by the university.
