Shivalik College of Education, Ambala was started in 1998 located at Village Aliyaspur, Sadhaura, Jagdhauli-Dosarka Road, Ambala, Haryana. This is a co-educational college that occupies 1 acre with a total student enrolment of 177 and a faculty strength of 14 members. This is an affiliated institution with the approval from NCTE. 

The institution has many facilities to enhance the learning experience of the students. There is a fully equipped library comprising more than 50,000 books pertaining to different disciplines of science, engineering, and technology; bound volumes of periodicals are also available. The gymnasium is also fully furnished with the latest and modern workout machines and free weights, even a boxing kit to keep oneself physically fit. A well-qualified pediatrician is always present in the medical room on campus for assistance to the children regarding their health-related problems, and sometimes, medical camps are organized for creating health awareness.

Shivalik College of Education runs two full-time courses related to the education field. At this institution, the programs are oriented to providing the students with theoretical and practical background so that they may find themselves in a position to have successful careers as teachers.
