Shivam College of Education Deoghar was started in the year 2017 located in Deoghar is a co-educational college comprises educators in training. This is an affiliated college located at Rikhia, amidst nature’s beauty in the quietude of Deoghar, Jharkhand and has very swiftly put up itself as a contender in the field of teacher education. Occupying a mere 0.82 acre of land, the college provides academics in two distinct courses with a total enrolment of 200 students. The institution boasts of having the right faculty to students’ proportion with 32 capacity faculty members preparing the eager teachers.

The college has several infrastructural facilities to improve the learning process of college going students. Knowledge center is the well equipped library and the recreation center which is the sports facility to ensure the growth of the physical and the teamwork. Shivam College of Education offers two full-time courses, The regular three-tier teacher education programmes in the state are Bachelor of Education regular and Distance mode, and Diploma in Elementary Education (Diploma in Education, D.El.Ed. / D. Ed.), each of two years. Both schemes have an approved capacity of admitting one hundred students each, making two hundred, in the two courses collectively.
