Shivlok Sadhna Kaksh Degree College, Kanpur was established in the year 2004. It is an affiliated college to the university at Meharban Singh Ka Purwa, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-ed college as per the norms of National Council for Teacher Education with undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The faculty strength is 13 members and has a total strength of 281 students.

The facilities available at the college are manifold to churn all-round development in the sphere of learning. Shivlok Sadhna Kaksh Degree College offers 7 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in BA, BSc, BCom, B.Ed, MA Education, MSc Chemistry and MCom. Of course many of these would appeal to different academic persuasions and career ambitions. In particular, approved intake for B.Ed. is 100 students.

Admission to the B.Ed. program would be as per merit, that is, marks acquired by a student at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination depending on the policy approved by the State Government/ U.T. Administration and the University. This fact speaks clearly about the commitment of the institution toward quality education associated with NCTE.
