Shivneri Polytechnic, Junnar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shivneri Polytechnic, Junnar, was established in the year 2008, and is an affiliated college, situated in Khanapur, near Ghodegao Phata, Narayangao-Junnar Road, Pune district, Maharashtra. This institution is a co-educational one, approved by AICTE and imparts diploma programmes to learners in various branches of engineering. Having the current student enrolment of 22 and the faculty strength of 6, Shivneri Polytechnic is ensured of concentration-driven learning. 

Such is the infrastructure of the Shivneri Polytechnic campus: the facilities enrich the student college-life experience. Separate hostels can be provided for boys and girls, both with an intake capacity of 800 students. These hostels have dormitories and attached bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate students from every nook and corner of India. The pure vegetarian mess serves five-course delicious meals to students four times a day. The gym on campus is well-equipped for all the fitness freaks out there. The central library is well-stocked with 35,000 books covering various topics on different subjects and languages, meeting the requirements of academic needs. The sports facilities are extensive, with a 5-acre ground having a 400-meters jogging track and separate fields for various outdoor games like football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball. It has facilities for indoor sports like table tennis, martial arts, chess, and carom.

Shivneri Polytechnic offers a total of three diploma courses, all of which are full-time programs. The three full-time diploma courses, each extending to a period of three years in Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The courses offered are diversified to meet the requirements of various branches of engineering so that the students studying in their chosen field gain specialised knowledge and skills.
