Shree Bhavan’s Bharti College of Education, Bhopal was set up in the year 2009, is a dedicated teacher education college situated in the capital city of the serial state of Madhya Pradesh. This college is a narrow specialised co-educational college located on limited space of just about 3.5 acres. The college recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) & B.T. & L. Ed affiliated to Jiwaji University Gwalior has total students 182 and total faculty 11 members. It being an affiliated college, it offers only one single specialisation – a programme indicative of quality teacher education.

Shree Bhavan’s Bharti College of Education has taken the mantle of developing physical structures that are desirable to student learning and achievement. These include the hostels which accommodate the male and female students , and comfortable standard accommodation for those who require to be resident. There is an adequate library where readers and researchers get set for their expeditions and there are departmental laboratories which provide practical lessons to learners. Now coming to the extra curricula activities, there is a large auditorium for all functions and programmes. Pupils are free to purchase meals from the university cafeteria and also make use of the gym facilities. The college also places much emphasis on students’ health with a medical that provides first aid services. For the students who like to move more there are sports facilities are available there and to fulfill the needs of modern technologies the college has well-equipped IT facilities.

The academic programmes that are offered in Shree Bhavan’s Bharti College of Education are limited to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two-year full-time course offered in two intakes for 50 and 100 students respectively, which only proves the college’s ability to accommodate a number of student who are aspiring to become quality teachers. The B.Ed programme has been developed in such a way that the students that undertakes it will be well equipped with skills needed in the modern world classroom.

The criteria for admission to Shree Bhavan’s Bharti college of Education are based on the result mark sheet and /or entrance examination.
