Shree Mahaveer Girls Degree College was set up in 2008 at Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, currently an affiliated college for women education. Particularly, the college is located in Pohalli, Post Dabathua, Sardhana Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh that provides a number of undergraduate programmes. Recognised by the NCTE and presently having a total enrolment capacity of 369 students and a faculty of 10 members. Currently the college offers five unique courses; the traditional courses and professional courses for young women education in the region. 

Shree Mahaveer Girls Degree College provides a number of facilities to support the learning environment and students. School library which is well stocked constitutes an important informational resource centre for academic endeavours. It has the accommodation of l Hospitals where the students can practice especially the science students. This is true in the it aspect where the college has proven to have state of the art it facilities in order to enhance support for the digital age. For the body health sports facilities are provided to make the balance in the education system.

Out of 5 full time courses offered in Shree Mahaveer Girls Degree College, all have been integrated in such a manner to give the women folk the best education. It has been found that the faculties of this university offer subjects in art, commerce, science and education faculties. These are the college’s academic offerings: The Bachelor of Arts (BA), The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

Some of Shree Mahaveer Girls Degree College admission process still differ from the programme that the student is applying for. As far as B.Ed programme is concerned, the admission process is generally via State level entrance examination as conducted by State Universities. It is competitive since the appointment of the candidate is based on the degree of performance outlined on the entrance test. Unlike the D.El.Ed programme, the Admissions are strictly merit based on the percentage of marks scored in the qualifying examination along with an entrance examination.
