Established in 1997, Shri NM Gopani Polytechnic Institute is one of the more prominent technical institutes in Ranpur, Gujarat. The co-educational institute, spread over 2 acres of land, has different diploma programs in the stream of Engineering. The affiliation is with the All India Council for Technical Education, and this established a distinguished identity in technical education for this institute. Having an enrollment of 228 students with a faculty of 13, the institute ensures individual attention to all its students. There are six diploma courses and all of them are full-time programs in different disciplines of engineering.
The institute has many such modern facilities aimed at enriching its learning environment. It has a library which is among the cornerstones of the academic resources of the institution. The library houses over 9,500 technical and non-technical books. It also hosts journals of various kinds, research papers, newspapers, etc. Moreover, it has an e-library that caters to the needs of the students for digital learning. The institute has laboratories fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for practical hands-on experience, such as the Power System Lab, CNC Machine Lab, Electronics Lab, etc. Through its sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games, holistic development is followed up at the institute, along with an annual sports week to promote more physical fitness and team spirit.
Shree NM Gopani Polytechnic Institute offers a total of six full-time diploma courses in engineering. The programs here strive to help students at the institution build a strong base of fundamentals in their respective branches of study. The total approved intake at the institute, for all its courses, is 360 students. The various diploma programs offered are in the streams of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering, and Metallurgy Engineering. All of these courses are of three years duration, which gives the students ample time to gain proper knowledge and practical experience in their respective fields.
