Shree Sant Muktabai Institute of Technology is well recognized for its history since 1983. Situated at Bhikamchand Jain Nagar, Pimprala Road, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, this affiliate institute was instituted to groom technical talent almost four decades ago. The faculty at this institute is 17 member-strong, thus allowing personal attention and quality education. 

SMIT takes pride in offering a range of facilities to enhance the learning period of its students. The well-stocked college library started right from the time of inception: 7,985 books, out of which 1,303 are reference books and 6,282 are textbooks. It remains open six days a week, and this library is well maintained while providing an appropriate environment for study and research. There is an ample opportunity for sports enthusiasts at SMIT, as they enjoy facilities for indoor games like table tennis and outdoor games such as soccer, cricket, volleyball, and basketball. It also provides training for the students to enhance their skills in various sports. For practical learning, the institute is well equipped with various types of laboratories, including a state-of-the-art CAD/CAM center and some department-specific laboratories. The IT infrastructure in the college is also of high standard to enable the students to keep themselves updated on changing technological innovations. 

SMIT offers three full-time courses of three years each in the discipline of engineering. These courses include the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, the Diploma in Computer Engineering, and the Diploma in Civil Engineering. This program, through capable training, tends to produce a deep-rooted base in the respected fields so that the job of their student runs well in the industry.
