Shree Swaminarayan Institute of Technology, founded in the year 2001, is one of the imperative centers of learning that is located in Bhat, near Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Spread over a vast campus area of 4.75 acres, SSIT offers an array of courses in engineering and computer applications. This institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Having a total enrolment of students of 1,014, faculty strength of 67, and an aptly conducive environment.

Shree Swaminarayan Institute of Technology has a number of modern facilities for a comfortable learning process. The institutes have well-equipped laboratories for practical training, libraries with more than 15,500 books covering all disciplines of engineering, and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. For the comfort and convenience of the students, SSIT is having separate hostels for boys and girls. It also has a canteen, sports facilities, and an auditorium for extracurricular activities and events. First-aid facilities are looked after through a health centre within the campus for the well-being of the SSIT community.

The institute offers a total of 8 courses in 2 degree programs. These cater to various academic interests and include 7 BE programs and 1 MCA program. 

The admission process in SSIT is based on merit and in accordance with the rules and regulations framed by the Gujarat government. In the case of BE, it is mainly through JEE Main and GUJCET. These examinations test the aptitude of students in physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects to ensure that only meritorious get admitted into the course. The MCA course has its own admission criteria.
