Shree Umiyaji Mahila College, Dhrol, affiliated to Saurashtra University, Gujarat, was established in the year 2004. Situated along the Rajkot-Jamnagar State Highway, abutting the flowing Bavni River, the college finds itself located perfectly to cater to the educational growth of female students in a congenial atmosphere. The total enrolment is 667 students, including students at the postgraduate level with a faculty strength of 24.

There are numerous facilities within the institution that seem to help the students and the institution in creating the best and most conversant learning environment. A good facility of library, which contains around 5,000 books for academic pursuits. Centrally air-conditioned and having the most recent software and hardware is the computer lab of the college. The girls' hostel has all the amenities and luxuries providing a safe and secure environment. Since many students are day scholars coming from urban areas around the town, we provide transportation too. The college also offers sports facilities for physical well-being, and thus, a balanced form of education is advocated. The auditorium and the seminar room create a pulsating life in the campus. Further, the college has various departmental laboratories associated with each discipline to provide practical experience in their study.

There are five full-time undergraduate courses that the Shree Umiyaji Mahila College is committed to in different academic disciplines.
