Shri Adarsh Mahila B.ED.College, Sikar, was established in year 2006 and it is purely a women’s college situated inShrimadhopur Rajasthan. This affiliated college for teacher education was jointly approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is located in an area of 1.6 acre and at present, it has 199 students and 15 teachers. This institute is providing only one regular course namely B.Ed, but for this course it has an approved enrolment  of one hundred students per year.

Shri Adarsh Mahila B.ED.College has a variety of facilities that would improve the learning arena of its students. A good library of any academic institution function as the working nerve of the organisation, we have over five thousand books, magazines, newspapers, and audio-visual aids. Additional service offered by the library includes use of the internet and photocopying services which are useful to the students in their research and study. For practical learning purpose academic facility, the college provides well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology actual experience of teaching to the aspiring teachers. Computer laboratory hall to accommodate all students, as a result students learn computer science necessary to today’s educational environment if appropriately equipped.

Shri Adarsh Mahila B.Ed. College works as an educational institution for all female students and knows how to create the necessary conditions for learning. It has a hostels’ accommodation where out-station students are provided with safe, clean and comfortable place to stay. Also, there are arrangements for transport for students and staff members to avail during their transportation times. In order to meet the overall personality and growth of the students, the sports facilities are also available in the school before any of the school sports activities are organised. The college also has its health centre to assure students avail first aid services among other facilities to improve students’ health. There is an auditorium within the compound as a result, accommodating several occasions and seminars creating a lively student experience.

Shri Adarsh Mahila B.Ed. College only has one course, which is the two year B.Ed course. This is an intensive full time course whose purpose is to produce qualified female teachers to teach in school. The programme has a total intake capacity of 100 seats as the college continues to improve the student teacher ratio that it holds as one of its core values for quality delivery of education.

Admission criteria are formulated as per the rules and regulation norms of Shri Adarsh Mahila B.Ed. College and the state government, U.T administration, and the affiliated university of the college. Selection is made strictly on the basis of merit regarding the marks secured in the qualifying and/or entrance test. The college also may employ other procedures of selection as per the existing policies.
