Shri Baba Anandeshwar Mahavidyalaya is a young college founded in 2014 and is situated in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. Located in Rastpur, this college is one of the pioneers in the province in offering education especially in teachers training colleges. Spread over an area of 0.48806 acres, the institute is recognised by the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) to fulfil the norms set by the government for the training institutions for teachers. As at now, the college has a student population of 313 and faculty of 24 to ensure that our students get the teacher-pupil ratio required in our teaching model. 

Shri Baba Anandeshwar Mahavidyalaya boasts on having a number of amenities to improve the general learning experience of students. First, the library plays the role of holding documents that are basic in any course of studying. Departmental laboratories are or can be one of the real facilities of learning, which are important towards the development of practical knowledge in numerous fields. Extra social activities are also carried out in a well-equipped auditorium where events and seminars are held in the college. Main meal eating facility ensures that it caters for all the students and staff’s dietary requirements. Education is well provided for to cater for the needs of the people in the community with an availability space for pre-school and school going children as well as a well equipped medical centre complete with first aid amenities. As it will be seen, the college has embraced modern education by having a very good IT system. For those who tend to have interest in sports-related activities, the college offers of various Athletic amenities for sporting activities to ensure that students also have their health checked and maintain the right shape as they study.

Enrolling two courses, Shri Baba Anandeshwar Mahavidyalaya is instrumental in the creation of educators of tomorrow. The B.Ed course was recognised for hundred students and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for a hundred students, therefore, in total two hundred seats. These are post graduate programmes that are intended to produce competent professionals with the right technical knowledge and attributes required in teaching profession in particular and the teaching community in general. That’s why the offered specialisation is focused on these particular courses since the college is aimed at the training of professional teachers to contribute to the education sector. 

This school has merit based admission system where students will be admitted based on the marks they secured in the previous examination or entrance examination. Admission policies of the college are in consistent with the rules and regulation prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh state government and the affiliated university of the college. Criteria vary for the B.Ed programme and hence the candidate’s scores in the qualifying examination or entrance test or any other test as per the regulations of the state government and the university concerned. Likewise, in the case of the D.El.Ed programme admission policy is a fulfilment of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination in accordance with policies which are framed by the state government or UT administration.
