Shri BB Memorial Mahila Teacher's Training College, Jhunjhunu: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri BB Memorial Mahila Teacher’s Training College was set up in the year 2007 and is affiliated to the affiliated college situated in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. It is a women university and it is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and focuses on issues to do with teacher training as well. The college occupies a ground area of only 0.36 acres; however, the college has a total student enrollment of 176 students and 15 faculty members. The institute offers three full-time degree programmes: B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, and BA B.Ed, for 300 combined seats. Being a prominent teacher training college, it concentrates on producing professional teachers to face the complex classes.

The college also provides hygienic food and snack through a canteen at affordable fees. To maintain physical fitness, there are gymnasium facilities for cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis and for the Indian indigenous sport- Kabaddi. An auditorium is there for seminars and other official functions and well equipped classroom are available for effective learning facilitated by experienced members of the staff.

Shri BB Memorial Mahila Teacher’s Training College provides three regular courses for students and both the course is related to teaching field. The B.Ed programme takes two years, the B.Sc B.Ed, and BA B.Ed is a four-year integrated programme. Combined, the institute offers a total of 300 seats in three programmes to a large chunk of students associated with the field of education. The nature of these two particular courses that is teacher training and development is clearly echoed in this college.

Shri BB Memorial Mahila Teacher’s Training College B.ED admission is normally taken through Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) that held by Government Dungar College Bikaner (Rajasthan). This low stakes assessment guarantees that the candidates once hired, are best suited as teachers given their ability and preparedness.
