Shri Bhagwan Shiv PG College, Etah: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

It is affiliated college which was established in 1999 at Umedpur Village, Etah, Uttar Pradesh and is known as Shri Bhagwan Shiv PG College, Etah. This institution is spread over a campus of 10 acres and provides a wide array of under graduate and diploma courses. The college is recognized and affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for its teacher education courses. Population size – 459 students enrolled across 6 courses in offer 5 degree programs makes learning environment precise in Shri Bhagwan Shiv PG College. The college provides specialization in arts, science, commerce, education and other fields that cater the students’ educational needs and passion.

For purposes of learning, the college has constructed various amenities that may help to improve the experience of learners and help them in their academic activities. A well equipped seminar hall acts as a venue for guest lectures, project presentations along with workshops completely equipped with latest audiovisual facilities. The college library on the other hand is an important facility of the college, which provides so many academic resources to the students. To support practical learning, the institution has well equipped laboratories, and a computer laboratory with internet connection. Students for instance, can always make use of sporting facilities, a gym and a clean and healthy cafeteria. It has a health center that helps students gain first aid in cases of illnesses or accidents this makes the college put the health of the students as its priority. Also, facility of guest house has been established within the college campus specifically for the visiting faculty and students ‘families and kith and kin’.

The University currently offers six full time programmes out of which four are for boys and two for the girls. The institution offers each program with a total of 1,320 student capacity for its undergraduate programs. The college provides four main undergraduate degrees: BA with 420 seats, B.Sc (Mathematics Group) with 300 seats, B.Sc (Biology Group) with 300 seats, and B. Com with 100 seats. Moreover, it runs B.ed and D.el.ed courses with 100 intake for passage for those interested in teaching profession. 

Enrollment at Shri Bhagwan Shiv PG College Android is achieved based on the program of study being offered. Undergraduate programs such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, the students, who fulfill the eligibility criteria are called for an interview and selection is made strictly on merit and availability of seats. The B.Ed program a different process, admitting students through the Director of Higher Technical Education. As per state government norms, admission to the D.El.Ed program is merit based depending on marks scored in the qualifying and/ or entrance test.
