Shri Bhaiyyaji Pandhaipande National Institute of Social Work, Nagpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Bhaiyyaji Pandhaipande National Institute of Social Work is one of the oldest institutions for education in social work and was established in the year 1968. It is an affiliated college situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and covers a campus area of 2 acres. Here, two courses in social work are being offered, in which students have to be enrolled totally to 255 students. Therefore, it has an incredibly favourable student-to-teacher ratio with 8 members in the faculty.

This institute is approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Quality education in social work is improved here. The institute has its wide range of facilities for upgrading the learning experience of students. Two highly spacious and well-furnished auditoriums are available here to host various academic and cultural events. The library was then named "Late. Ishwar Deshmukh Memorial Library" in the year 2010, with an excellent range of books and reference materials. It caters to not only students and staff but also outsiders coming for research. IIT Guwahati surely makes use of all the available technologies to benefit education. All classrooms at the campus were equipped with LCD projectors and Wi-Fi was used throughout the campus. 

Shri Bhaiyyaji Pandhaipande National Institute of Social Work pays due care to physical well-being by providing an open ground for sports and games and a facility for the gym. The campus offers a canteen, ample parking space, and a health centre with first aid facilities. The institute offers two courses in full-time manner- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW). The BSW is a three-year course, and MSW is a two-year course. Both the courses were planned in order to give the students a good foundation of social work principles and practices.
