Shri Chandra Bhan Singh Mahavidhyalaya, Agra was started in the year 2011 which is affiliated college located at Mukharai, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This institution is located in a campus of 2.5572 acres; the institute provides a number of opportunities to the students. It is affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education(F-note: NCTE) thus offering quality training to teachers in training institutions. Overall Intake capacity of College for the students is 1592 and number of faculties are 31 so College has a good student strength for a teacher which also helps in creating proper learning atmosphere.

The college offers a combination of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, and all are available for full-time completion. For the undergraduate program, the following are offered: BA, B. Sc, B. Com, B. Ed; for the postgraduate program, the following courses are offered: MA English and Politics, M. Sc Chemistry and Mathematics. It also undertake specific programs such as B.P.Ed and D.El.Ed of physical education and teachers training for the elementary level respectively. In terms of admission the total approved intake is 1,592 through all the courses; greatly opening up the chances for the would be students. 

During admission in Shri Chandra Bhan Singh Mahavidhyalaya, it differs with the course being applied for. Admission to B.Ed and B.P.Ed Programs are purely merit based with regard to the Entrance examination and the Qualifying marks obtained in the written test, fitness test and Interview. The same procedure is applied in case of the D.El.Ed program also where admissions are taken merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
