The college has the sports facilities for all students.

24 Hour Internet Service of 10 Mbps is provided in every department as this will help students to interact with their counterparts anywhere concerning their project, technical paper presentation, and research work. The students can keep themselves abreast of the fast-changing technologies. Services provided through the Centralized Computing Centre.

A well-maintained canteen which ensures availability of hygienically cooked good quality snacks viewed as essentiality to support academic ambiance. The canteen is operated by reputed caterers under the strict vigilance of Canteen Committee.

The College having spacious auditorium cum sports auditorium of over 1000 seating capacity for conducting various extracurricular activities is in the college premises.

The College provides a bus facility to all the students at subsidized rates. The bus facility is also extended to students to visit industries, research institutes, survey camps etc. The college operates its own buses on all the routes. Due to some unavoidable reason, it may not be always possible to drop the students at their doorsteps or to accommodate requests for changes. Once a route has been finalized no changes will be entertained and we expect parents’ cooperation. In addition to existing stops or revisions of routes is entirely at the college’s decision. In a rare event, for any special requests, please contact the college administration. In case of any changes in the pick -up /drop point, contact the bus facility in-charge.

The reputation and strength of an educational institution over a period of time depends to a large extent upon the interest that the institution takes in its alumni and their continued education, the closeness that the alumni feel to their Alma mater and the bonds of kinship that develop among the alumni themselves. The institute's activities and programs for its alumni are directed towards these ends. The SDMP Alumni association has more 1000 alumni in India and abroad. The association aims to provide various educational activities for the benefit of its members with the active cooperation of the faculty. The institute has the plan for the alumni conference to be organized every year with a specific theme, which will serve the purpose of continued education for a wide section of the alumni.SDMP- ShriDattaMeghe Polytechnic Alumni Association has been established by ShriDattaMeghe Polytechnic for the contacts with Alumni and subsequent interaction with students and institute faculty. At active participation of Alumni members is the strength of SDMP. It is not worth that the Alumni are spread all across the globe for higher studies as well as for jobs.

The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
