Situated in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, Shri DP Verma Memorial Degree College is an educational institution that has been shaping young and impressionable minds since the year of its establishment in 2007. This affiliated college runs a range of academic programmes across its compact campus of 2.54 acres to a total of 1,134 learners. With a faculty base of 18 committed teachers, the college presents a friendly student-to-teacher ratios, offering a liberal environment for quality education. Eight courses are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for five degree courses. These vary from full-time courses in streams of Arts, Sciences, Commerce, and Education. Specialisation in subjects such as Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics is available within the courses of BA and BSc; these provide a good launching pad for future study in the disciplines concerned. Those with a Commerce bent of mind may opt for the B.Com course. This aspiring educator now waits for the flagship B.Ed. programme, with an intake capacity of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, in the college, there exist MA programmes offered in Home Science, Sociology, and Economics, which enable the student to delve deeper in chosen fields of study.
