Shri Gajanand Sital Yadav Mahavidyalya, Mirzapur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Gajanand Sital Yadav Mahavidyalya, Mirzapur, was established in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college located in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The campus spreads over 2.525 acres of land, offering undergraduate and diploma courses. It has a total student enrolment of 1,134 and a faculty strength of 23 dedicated teachers. 

Shri Gajanand Sital Yadav Mahavidyalya offers a wide range of facilities. One such resource is the library, which houses thousands of books on all subjects at the graduation level. Students are also provided with a spacious study hall where daily newspapers and employment-oriented periodicals are available both in Hindi and English. Another feature of the college is the well-equipped subject-based laboratories for practical work in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Geography, Home Science, and Education. These are modern in nature and assure practical exposure with theoretical knowledge. There is also a computer laboratory in the institution where the student can learn and acquire the basics of information technology, which has become an integral part of life today. For sports enthusiasts, a big playground is available where popular sports like football, volleyball, and hockey can be played and physical fitness developed along with learning the skill of team spirit. 

Shri Gajanand Sital Yadav Mahavidyalya has four courses, and all of them are full-time. The approved intake for all courses totals 1,060 students. It therefore exhibits the capacity of the college to accommodate a large number of aspiring learners each academic year. 

The admission process for Shri Gajanand Sital Yadav Mahavidyalya varies from course to course. The admission to D.El.Ed is merit-based, against marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. While admitting students to the programme in the college, the policies of the State Government or UT administration are followed.
