Shri Jagat Narayan Mahavidyalaya college is an affiliated college established in year 2014 and  is situated in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, India. This institution is located in a 3-acre along the uncompleted road and main aims and objectives of this institution is to offer quality programmes in the area of teacher training. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which means the college takes education standards nationally. The college currently has a population of students totaled at 391 and also has a faculty population of 9 which makes the institution competent enough to deliver personalied training. There are three specific educational courses in this institute for those students who want to join teaching field at different stages.

Shri Jagat Narayan Mahavidyalaya college has variety of amenities which are intended to complement students’ learning as well as their personal growth processes. A well equipped library enhance and supports academic activities since it provides information resources. The campus also has shed accreditation hours for practicum training, well-equipped laboratories that are essential due to ongoing practical assessment in faculty training. To maintain physical fitness and Recreation Students has some sports facilities and a gym. The college also has auditorium which is used for the different events and seminars that are conducted and also encourages the good culture of the college. The courses offered by Shri Jagat Narayan Mahavidyalaya are entirely regular and are only three courses relating to the teacher education. The authorised admissions capacity for all these programmes is 200. The maximum number of students enroled is 100 in two-years B.Ed course. The other course is the D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) which is also two years programme with intake capacity of 50 students. For those who want a combined package, the college provides a Four-year BA B.Ed Integrated course for 50 students. These varied programmes prepare students who want to teach at various tiers of the education system.

The admission requirement of Shri Jagat Narayan Mahavidyalaya is on the basis of marks scored in the previous and/or entrance examination. Admission of the B.Ed as well as D.El.Ed programme are based on the policy of the state government, UT administration & the affiliated university. Pursuant to the same procedure, so does the BA B.Ed Integrated programme though the students are to fill in the options of the subjects of their choice and pedagogic specialisations on the admission forms. They are then distributed according to the merit and the availability of such preferences. The admission policy of the college is transparent and on the side of the deserving candidates in order for them to be given a chance to become a educator.
