Affiliated with the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, Shri Jain College, Kekri, was established in 2006. This combines co-education which is a feature of this institution located in a 3 acre compound to offer various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The estimated scale of student enrolment at Shri Jain College is 70 and faculty strength is 13 in total, which definitely favour specialisation. These include 10 courses across 5 degrees programmes which are especially popular in Arts and Commerce streams along with computer applications. 

Shri Jain College has developed and acquired various amenities with the purpose of promoting the student experience. The essence of learning resources is the library containing more than 4230 books of different subjects connected with college curriculum. The library also provides the book banking where students can borrow books for the entire semester from the library. Athletic students are well taken care of since the college offers both indoor and outdoor sporting facilities the college assure all students are asked to participate in meaningful and competitive sporting activities regardless of their talents or disability. The level of information technology is admirable. It boasts of a computer laboratory which has 30 computers, latest developed software, and internet connection from the outside world. This setup is advantageous for learners touching technical programmes such as BCA and PGDCA among others. In addition, the college premise also comprises of departmental laboratories, smart class rooms having display boards and a health complex having first aid amenities.

At present, Shri Jain College gives ten courses all of which are day programmes only. The available courses cover a wide range of fields, which makes this school relevant to a learner of any field of study. The college offers south Asian three years Undergraduate programmes like BA, B.Com and BCA, BA honours in Political Science, English Literature, Hindi, History, Sociology, and Economics. But for those who wish to upgrade themselves in computer knowledge, the college also provides one-year full-time PGDCA programme namely Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. The approved intake for the programmes are 60 for BA & B.Com and for BCA 40 students are allowed to take admission.

This makes the admission process at Shri Jain College to be as easy as possible to any aspiring student. Admission to the college may therefore be mostly determined through academic performance in the qualifying examination. For the under graduate courses like BA, B.Com and BCA, a pass in 10+2 examination conducted by any board of secondary education recognised by the government is eligibility criteria. The PGDCA programme is available to graduates of any discipline or specialisation. It has a more direct system of admissions depending on the academic performance and on the availability of the free places.
