Shri Krishan Polytechnic, Kurukshetra, was established in the year 2005 as a premier technical institution in Haryana, India. The institute is co-educational and spreads over 23 acres of land with a prime motto of imparting quality technical education. This polytechnic is AICTE approved at New Delhi and offers different diploma courses. This institute has focused on practical learning with six special courses that will equip the students with industry-relevant skills. This commitment to excellence in infrastructure, with a faculty of 8 highly experienced professionals, will create a perfect learning environment for aspiring technicians and engineers.

Campus hostels, both boys' and girls', are available on the campus for accommodation of outstation students. Besides, the institute runs a number of buses that makes it much easier to commute for students and staff from the nearby areas. Shri Krishan Polytechnic offers six full-time diploma courses, covering various branches of engineering.

It gives a sound footing in their respective fields at the Institute and helps the student to have successful career in the technical field. It offers 6 Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. Every programme is for three years, which allows in-depth study and practical training. The sanctioned intake of the institute for all the courses taken collectively is 390, while the highest is Mechanical Engineering at 150, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Civil Engineering coming in at 60 respectively, and the lowest comprise Computer Science and Automobile Engineering, which have a sanctioned intake of 30 each.
