Shri Krishna Institute of Technology and Management (SKITM), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, was founded in the year 2010. This affiliated college has grown to be among the best in the provision of engineering education for the last one and a half decade. Located in the sprawling campus of Kote Ki Saray Bhatkhedi, near Jhansi road, SKITM has been offering a wide spectrum of B.Tech. programmes to cater the need and interest of engineering aspirants. Thus placing a heavy emphasis on quality and practical education the institute has been making the future for countless learners in a wide range of engineering disciplines.  

The library is well stocked with 1355 titles and 8755 volumes of books and subscribes 90 national journals and 36 International journals. Reading hall, of seating 155 has been designed to ease reading and studying in a quiet environment. With regard to IT development, SKITM boasts of top-notch IT facilities that will facilitate the training of students to make them abreast with current technological progression in their respective disciplines. 

SKITM also has modern and well stocked laboratories for every department in order to allow the students to gain actual working experience that is important to their careers. In order to assure students’ comfort, the Institute provides accommodation in separate hostels for boys and girls, which can be regarded as students’ home. The canteen on the campus is functional for serving food and beverages and is essential for the students to interact with each other The sport facility improved health and criterion of team spirit among students. Also available is a health centre with first aid facilities that promote the physical welfare of the SKITM members.

The engineering programmes that are provided by SKITM include a complete range of B.Tech programmes which are all in full time. The institute provides five B.Tech programmes: The Departments are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. These programmes in total have an approved intake of 60 students for all courses offered, and so there are 300 seats offered in all these courses. This has provided the student with the versatility in that they get to choose a specific area of specialisation that they want.
