Shri Krishna Janka Devi Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur: Established in affiliations with Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh (1999), this institution has been in existence for the last twenty years and has been imparting education to the youth over a sprawling campus of 5.22 acres. This institution is duly recognised by the NCTE, and it offers an array of undergraduate programmes along with teacher training courses. With a total student intake of 657 and a faculty strength of 42, the student-teacher ratio of this college remains in favour of optimum care and quality in education. 

Shri Krishna Janka Devi Mahavidyalaya, promotes the learning experience of the students, a host of facilities are ensured within the campus. In the sphere of health, a properly equipped health centre with first-aid facilities is always available for the well-being of the members of the college community. There are two libraries within this institution to cater to various streams of studies. These libraries are provided with a comprehensive and good collection of books, journals, encyclopedias, and magazines for the course and its corresponding subjects, following NCTE norms for B.Ed. and B.T.C. courses. Indoor and outdoor games facilities are provided to game lovers by the college, and this is supplemented by a spacious play ground. The Educational Tech and Media Laboratory is well-maintained and updated with computers, printers, cameras, overhead projectors, along with educational CD-ROMs. An auditorium serves as an apt venue for conducting multifarious events and seminars. The Psychology Lab is an inbuilt department of the Faculty of Education, well equipped with all the required apparatus of the B.Ed. course, and the apparatus herein is periodically updated. 

Shri Krishna Janka Devi Mahavidyalaya offers four full-time courses across various disciplines. The college provides 360 seats for BA, 240 for B.Sc, 100 for B.Ed, and 50 for D.El.Ed programmes. Now, these programmes ensure that they cover a wide range of courses meant for students with various academic interests, from Arts and Sciences to Teacher Education. The total approved intake of these courses is 750, which is indeed a very large number, reflecting the commitment of the institution to provide quality education to a large number of students each year.
