Shri Laxmanrao Mankar Institute of Pharmacy, Amgaon, founded in the year 1987, is one of the prominent institutions for pharmaceutical education. Shri Laxmanrao Mankar Institute of Pharmacy offers two full-time courses: four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). Each of these career courses has an approved intake of 60 students, that is, in total there are 120 seats for both the programs. The courses are designed with a sole focus on providing the students with the in-depth knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical sciences so that they can build and maintain successful careers in the very widely developing field of pharmacy.

The admission process at Shri Laxmanrao Mankar Institute of Pharmacy is structured and competitive. For B.Pharma course: Candidates applying for the B.Pharma course will also have to appear for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. In fact, admissions to the said course will be subject to qualification through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET).
