Shri Muktanand College, Aurangabad, was established in the year 1970 as a co-educational institution at Gangapur in Maharashtra. Affiliated with NAAC, this affiliated college imparts a wide variety of courses in different streams. The 25.5-acre campus has a totally enrolled student mass of 2,306, with 57 exclusive faculty members. Shri Muktanand College advocates quality education with 9 degree-level courses in 7 streams pertaining to popular specializations in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Computer Applications. The institution offers a blend of gender, with a ratio of 60% male students and 40% female students from different parts of the state.

Shri Muktanand College offers various programs at the academic level to cater to the diversified interests of its students. It offers 9 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The undergraduate courses include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and recently, a new generation Bachelor of Vocation in the field of Sustainable Agriculture and Accounting and Taxation. At the postgraduate level, there are courses in Master of Commerce and Master of Science in Chemistry and Botany. 

The admission process in Shri Muktanand College is categorised in an inclusive way, that will be merit-based. Although there is no mention of any entrance test or any kind of selected eligibility criteria. 

This college ensures strong financial aid support with the majority of the students here receiving refunds on reimbursement by themselves.  Out of the 190 students in graduate programs, 75 received aid.
