Shri Narheji Mahavidyalaya, Ballia was established in the year 1991. This affiliated college is located in Narhi, Rasara, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The institute sprawls over 30.6 acres and the campus is NCTE approved. With a total student enrolment of 1,456 and a faculty strength of 31, it offers 6 undergraduate degree programs. The courses offered in the institute range from B.P.Ed, BA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Ed to B.Com, catering to different academic interests and career aspirations. 

These facilities further extend to many other amenities that would make a student's learning experience rich and rewarding. According to NCTE norms, the library has a national and international collection of journals, newspapers, and periodicals, which is supplemented by a reading room for 50 students. The sports lovers have facilities for indoor and outdoor games, along with a well-equipped gym. A well-equipped science laboratory as per the guidelines of NCTE has been provided and replenished regularly with the latest equipment and apparatus. The institution also has an auditorium for events and seminars, separate boys' and girls' hostels, a health center with first-aid facilities, and a canteen for students and staff. The IT infrastructure further supports the academic atmosphere by making sure that students are exposed to the modern technological resources available. 

Shri Narheji Mahavidyalaya offers a total of 6 full-time undergraduate courses. While most of the courses do not state the number of students that can be enrolled in that particular course, the B.P.Ed. has an approval intake of 120 students. All the courses are full-time and offer comprehensive education in the respective fields. The commitment to having a diversified set of educational programs is reflected in the programs offered by the college, ranging from traditional arts and sciences to highly vocational ones such as computer application and physical education. 

At Shri Narheji Mahavidyalaya, admission to the course is diversified. The admissions to the B.Ed. program should be based on merit determined by marks of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the State Government and University policy. Selection in the B.P.Ed. course involves a slightly more elaborate process, including a written test, fitness test, interview, and proportionate weightage to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Multi-determining candidates will thus be selected in line with the spirit of the course: physical education.
