Among the most prominent colleges is Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, Unnao. The college was founded in the year 2011. This affiliate college is located at a distance of 35 km from Lucknow, on Lucknow-Kanpur Highway. SRMSCET offers various engineering programs with an emphasis on quality technical education. It has an enrollment strength of 86 students and a faculty strength of 130 which ensures a very proper student-teacher ratio for individual attention and growth in academics.

SRMSCET is fully dedicated towards the development of infrastructure so that it can provide all the state-of-the-art facilities to the students in every respect. Separate hostels for boys and girls are present in the college with capacities of 482 students and 216 students, respectively. The college is offering three full-time B.Tech programmes in the fields of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each program is designed to be a four-year course that will deliver students a deep concentration in that specialization.

RMSCET admits students on the basis of merit alone to all undergraduate programs of engineering. All other colleges of engineering admit students based on scores secured by students in national-level or state-level entrance examinations along with their academic performance at 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.

SRMSCET has ultra modern IT infrastructures. i3 and i7 processor-based systems 200 nos. of computer systems were installed to meet the needs of the students with the most updated technology in their studies.
