Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Science and Education Datia is an affiliated college which was founded in the year 2003 at Kalapuram, NH – 75, Jhansi Road Datia M.P. The institute is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The total number of intake of students in the institute is 226 & it provides 3 full time courses in education only. Campus located at latitude 25.6409886 and longitude 78.4561895 is ideal for learning and development in the specialization of education.

It has facilities such as; To name but a few of the facilities it has for supporting student’s academic and or persona needs. The library which forms the central organ of the institute possesses approximately 30000 books of different fields of study. It is computerized and automated; it is also periodically reviewed and updated to suit the current advancement in technology. The DELNET facility gives access to one thousand national and international library resources. A part of the IT infrastructure is an Internet facility that is open 24 hrs/ day and the center has 12MBPS connection. To ensure that the students are comfortable, the campus has has separate hostel for boys and girls, which provides homey environment. A modern cafeteria is available serving continental, Chinese, and Indian food. Other amenities include modern laboratories and a computer laboratory, playgrounds, hall for conducting various occasions/seminars, medicine and health centre including first aid facilities, leisure hall/fitness centre, and accommodation units for guest faculty/ family members.

The institution in Datia known as Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Science and Education has three full time courses as per field of education. Others are Bachelors in Education (B.Ed), Masters in Education (M.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary education (D.El.Ed). The total approved intake for these courses is principally 150 students, however, the University admission for B.Ed is 100 students and M.Ed is 50 students. The institute deals with quality education in teacher training for effective preparation of students to secure better employment in the area of education.
