Sarkar Institute of Technology & Science was established in the year of 2002. Situated in NH 75, Jhansi Road, Kalapuram, Datia, Madhya Pradesh, this college is an affiliated college spread over 10 acres of land. SRITS Datia is known technical education having offered the following four BE courses in the total intake of 198 students. The institute has an approval of the All India Council for Technical Education and also it is National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited. The SRITS Datia has 45 faculties of engineering with a conducive student practical ratio for the faculty.

SRITS Datia has many of its facilities meant to provide efficient and effective learning to its students as well as their all round development. The institute possesses a number of sophisticated laboratories for practical work, a big library comprising over 30000 books and modern Information Technology having 12 MBPS internet facility. There are four full-time BE programmes with a period of four years each which the institute produces. These programme are BE Mechanical Engineering, BE Civil Engineering, BE Computer Science and Engineering and BE Electronics and Communication Engineering. Every course has been approved for admission of 30 students and the total student population intake for all programmes is 120. The SRITS Datia for most of the courses offers admission through merit while the admission criteria for B.Tech is dependent on the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main).
