The Institute Shri RGP Gujarati Professional Institute. It is an autonomous part of the affiliation from AICTEj. The institutes for postgraduate and undergraduate courses in management and computer application are present. The admission process in the SRGPGPI is conducted in such a way that only deserving candidates get admission into their various courses. However, it also has independent procedures for each program. The general admission cycle is very similar with the session academic period which is often very beginning in July or August. There is a merit-based admission for undergraduate courses like BBA and BCA, where merit is determined based on the performance of students in grade 10+2 examination. Admission should be followed strictly by rules and a timeline prescribed by MP Higher Education, Bhopal for minority institutions.

For postgraduate programs, the admission process is completely different. For MBA courses, CMAT or MAT scores are seen in case of application; however, application without these scores can also be done based on graduation percentage (minimum 50% required). For MCA admissions, Online Off-Campus Counseling conducted by DTE, Bhopal is used. Different eligibility criteria are prescribed for each program. Most of the time, undergraduate courses require candidates to have completed their 10+2 from an accredited board. Postgraduate programs such as MBA and MCA require candidates to have bachelor's degree in relevant fields. 

Application Process

Application Procedure in Shri RGP Gujarati Professional Institute varies program wise:

For Undergraduate Courses (BBA, BCA):

1. Visit the SRGPGPI official website or the MP Higher Education Portal.
2. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.
3. Upload required documents, including 10+2 mark sheets, passport-size photograph, and other certificates as specified.
4. Pay the application fee online.
5. Submit the completed application form.
6. Wait for the merit list to be published.
7. If selected, report to the institute in person for document verification and admission formalities.

For admission into MBA course:

1. A candidate must appear in either CMAT or MAT exam (if applicable).
2. Then fill the MBA application form on SRGPGPI website.
3. Upload required documents such as graduation mark sheets, relevant entrance exam scores (if applicable), and work experience certificates (if applicable). 
4. then pay the application fee,
5. submit Application form and wait for shortlisted candidates.
6. For candidates who are eligible for further rounds, attend selection rounds (like group discussion or personal interview) as notified by the institute.
7. The final selection is based on winner's academic score and performance in entrance exam, if applicable, as well as performance in any further rounds.

For MCA Program:

1. Register for the Online Off-Campus Counseling being conducted by DTE, Bhopal.
2. Fill the counseling form by selecting SRGPGPI as one of your preferred institutions.
3. Upload required documents: graduation mark sheets and other certificates.
4. Attend the counseling as per the schedule about to be announced by DTE.
5. If given a seat against SRGPGPI, the student will report to the institute for document verification and admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

BBA: SRGPGPI's Bachelor of Business Administration course has a formally approved intake of 180 seats. Admission is granted based on merit as judged by the candidates' results in the 10+2 examinations and in accordance with the directions of the MP Higher Education for minority institutions.

This program has an intake of 180 seats. Admissions to this program are primarily based on the performance in CMAT or MAT, but candidates without these scores can still apply provided they obtained a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation. The additional rounds may include group discussion and/or personal interviews for final selection.

There are also 120 approved seats for the undergraduate Bachelor of Computer Applications program. Admissions are conducted on merit basis as for BBA, considering the performances of 10+2 examinations and following the guidelines of Minority Institutions by MP Higher Education.

MCA: Admission in Master of Computer Applications comes with an intake of about 60 students. The admissions are conducted by DTE, Bhopal, through an Online Off-Campus Counseling. Candidates need to have relevant qualifications for admission, generally including a bachelor's degree in computer applications or related fields.

Generally, required documents include:

• 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificates
• Graduation mark sheets and degree certificates for post-graduate courses
• Entrance exam score cards (if applicable)
