The Shri Sai College of Education Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh was established the year 2001 and is a co-educational school situated in Kohla, District Hamirpur (H.P.). Shri Sai College of Education offers two comprehensive teacher training programs: a Bachelors of Education (B. Ed which is now known as Bachelor of Education [B. El. Ed]) and Other is Diploma of Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). Both are full-time courses, which take two years to complete the program respectively. The B.Ed program has an approval for a aggregate uptake of one hundred students and the D.El.Ed program has an approval for a uptake of fifty students. These programs are meant to prepare students for effective teaching at all levels of the education system as stated in the objective of this study.
