The Shri Sant Ram College of Education Karnal was founded in the year 2008. It is a co-education college that is devotedly providing the advantage of education to the potential teachers. Located in Haryana, directly 12 km from NH-1 on the Karnal-Patiala Highway, this affiliated college has been awarded with the consent by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college provides two primary education courses. This education providing college is the teaching faculty of 19 educated teachers.

The college offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Diploma in Education (D.Ed) program; both are full-time courses that last two years. The eligibility for these courses is a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Admission to the B.Ed course is made strictly on the basis of merit determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows any other selection procedure required as per the rules of state government/Union Territory administration and the affiliated university. On the other hand, the D.Ed program admits candidates on the basis of an admission procedure that includes clearing an entrance test. These procedures ensure that the college admits students who demonstrate the potential to excel in the field of education.
