Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture, Pimpalkhuta: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture, Pimpalkhuta, was established in 2008 in Dhamangaon Railway, Amravati district, Maharashtra. The institute is dedicated for agricultural studies and it provides B.Sc Agriculture Hons course. This college occupies a campus of 5 acres while the total strength of the college is 503 and 22 members in faculties. 

The college, therefore, has embraced its core business of availing quality education to students preparing them to respond to nature of the sector. Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture prides in having the following facilities to assure students of achievements in their academic and personal objectives. The hostel facility of the campus is available for boys and girls separately with solar water heaters, water coolers and RO water systems. A large cafeteria for the students which houses snack bars that sell all forms of foods and drinks during research intervals. There is much emphasis on physical fitness as there are well furnished gym and spacious playground of various games like lesbio, cricket, kho-kho, kabaddi and volley ball etc., apart from play station games. The college began in 2008 and the library is a section of this college and has accumulated various textbooks, references and magazines for the students’ purposes.

Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture offers one full-time course: B.Sc Agriculture Hons. This is a four-year programme with the college’s core objective of producing students with profound knowledge in agricultural sciences. The total number of students enroled for all courses in the institute and the present total number also does sum up to 503. 

The enrolment of the students in Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture is done according to the admissions standards mainly involving common entrance tests. Students can apply based on NEET-UG scores as well as the MHT CET scores or the ICAR AIEEA scores. These include examinations that prospective students sit in the relevant PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
