Established in 1960, Shri Shahu Mandir Mahavidyalaya is a part of the ABMS. Parishad's initiative to make education accessible to everyone. It is one of the many educational institutions under the ABMS Parishad located throughout Maharashtra. The Parishad strives to connect with people and raise awareness about the significance of education, and our college is a result of these endeavours.

Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Shahu College Pune offers undergraduate programmes in BA, B.Com, BBA, and BBA (CA), as well as postgraduate programmes in Commerce, English, Marathi, and Economics. Additionally, the college offers practical Short Term Courses such as Tally, Basic Beauty Culture, and Spoken English. Admission to Shahu College Pune is merit-based and requires scores of class 12/graduation. Scholarships like the Fee Concession Scholarship and financial aid such as Annasaheb Patil Pratishtan are given to students at the College. 

Shahu College Pune campus covers an area of 67 acres and has a stunning and scenic environment adorned with numerous trees. These trees not only offer shade and beauty but also create a refreshing atmosphere that is conducive to focused learning. Along with NCC and NSS, the Shri Shahu Mandir Mahavidyalaya facilities include a competitive examination centre, a central library, two computer labs, a language lab, a Commerce computer lab, Vidyarthini Manch, a Gymkhana, dormitories, a canteen, parking for cars and more.
