Shri Shamrao Patil Adhyapak Vidyalaya, situated at kolhapur, Maharashtra is an independent B.Ed college specifically focuses on the education of teachers. This institution was commenced in the year 2008 and for more than 10 years, it has been preparing teachers in the future. Located on a limited area of 2.5 acres of land, the college provides a suitable atmosphere of learning to the students who wish to become teachers. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved the institute to offer quality education in the country. The college currently has a total enrollment of 24 learners who are served by a staff of 7 qualified and capable instructors giving a healthy student-teacher ratio that facilitates individual tutorial sessions.

Students understand that the institute is proud to provide the following facilities to help them improve their learning process. Ctreamed as a knowledge centre, it gives students the necessary information for carrying out their academic tasks. An auditorium nurtures capacities and seminars to enhance an effective environment for academic concerts. To support the development of the college, the college provides cafetaria, sports complex, and adequate information technology infastructure. Laboratories meet practical learning requirements while a heath capability with first aid facilities addresses to students’ health requirements. More facilities that belong to a gym, guest rooms and parking space add to comfortable campus living.

Shri Shamrao Patil Adhyapak Vidyalaya provides structured courses and enrolls students only for the D.El.Ed course. This academic program has a duration of two years and is intended for student who want to become primary school teachers. This course prepares candidates for teaching profession by providing them with knowledge and all attributes essential for effective teaching in elementary classes. In this manner, it is able to take twenty-four students at most allowing close attendance for every student in the program. Due to this focused model, the institute is in a position to channel aimed at constraining a high standard of elementary teachers.

Shri Shamrao Patil Adhyapak Vidyalaya offer admission through merit obtained in the qualifying examination and/ or entrance examination.
