Shri Sharadchandra Pawar Polytechnic, Bhilewada, was started in 2008 and has grown up as one of the premier technical institutions in Bhandara, Maharashtra. This co-educational institute is extended over 5 acres and is an affiliated college approved by AICTE. It aims at delivering quality technical education with four diploma programmes in Engineering disciplines. The institute has a total student enrolment of 79, which is duly backed by a strong faculty consisting of 39 members, maintaining a favourable student-to-faculty ratio for personalised attention and guidance.

Shri Sharadchandra Pawar Polytechnic takes pride in offering a variety of facilities toward improving the learning experience of its students. It is a knowledge centre with a large collection of textbooks, reference books, and subscriptions to journals both at the national and international levels. Added to these are the modem concepts of e-library and audiovisuals, which are further supplemented by computer facilities with multimedia and internet connectivity. A medical facility with first-aid services is available on campus for the health and well-being of students. The institute promotes the development of physical fitness and sports, taking adequate measures to provide facilities for indoor and outdoor games and encourages participation of students in state and national-level competitions. In tune with modern technology, the college has a well-maintained computer centre with updated hardware and software to aid learning, further complemented by Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus.

Shri Sharadchandra Pawar Polytechnic offers four full-time diploma programmes, each spanning three years. These courses, based on different branches of Engineering, provide a wide range of choices for students to pursue their technical interests. The total approved intake across all courses is 150 seats, with a division among Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
