Shri Sharda Mata Prasad Degree College, Azamgarh is an affiliated college situated in Uttar Pradesh, India which was set up to the academic year 2012-2013. These programs include 14 courses under 7 degree types and s\tudent enrollment stands at 935 from all levels of study. It is common access university that admits students of both genders. As per the provisions of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college holds an approval that asserts the quality of teacher training programs. It is a full-time institution offering 14 courses, Under Graduate programmes – B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., etc., Post Graduate programmes – M.A. in different subjects and M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany. In addition, the college has professional courses in education i.e., B.ED and D.EL.ED. The intake of the students in the B.ED course has been approved for 100 students and for the D.EL.ED program, the number of intakes is 50. Nevertheless, the College offers education to a total of 935 students across all offered courses, thus has a rich and active students’ population.
