The Shri Shyam Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college which came in existence in the year 2011 at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Located in Chandwaji village this institution has felt the call to grant educational services to the area for more than ten years. The college occupies a small plot of the area of 2.5 acres which allows focusing on the education of its students. It has a strength of 1092 students and teaching faculty of 21 and it offers a wide variety of disciplines across several courses. At the moment, the college offers 11 courses under 4 degree programmes that help students develop their academic focus and choose the desired career path.

Shri Shyam Mahavidyalaya boasts of infrastructures that provide support for improved learning environment of the college students. It has fully equipped labs for Zoology, Chemistry, Botany and Home Science all equipped with modern instruments as per the syllabus of the university. An advanced computer laboratory which has Internet and Local Area Network (LAN) allows students to be in pace with current developments. It is a centre for all the books, magazines, journals, periodicals, etc that anyone would require, and is located in a college with a modern, comfortable, and warm look. As for the students who have passion for exercises and games, the college contains play ground facilities for volley ball, kho-kho, badminton, football, criccket etc. The campus has also included an auditorium which is useful for holding events and seminar, Wi-Fi technology and cafeteria for teachers as well as learners.

The course offered through the Shri Shyam Mahavidyalaya is a total of 11 courses are full time course. These include under graduate courses like BA, B.COM, B.Sc in Physics, Chemist & Mathematics, B.Sc in Chemistry, effort, and Ziology, Post Graduate Courses are like MA Hindi, political science, and geography. The college total enrollment for all the courses is 1,092 and this is in a bid to also ensure that the college maintains a student teacher ratio that is ideal for effective learning. Unfortunately, there is no concrete graduation data for the last year but the college persists in enriching the education of it students irrespective of the stream they belong to.
