Shri Vishram Singh Mahavidyalaya, Gausganj, which is affiliated with the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, was established in the year 25th July 2014 and is situated at Kahali, Terwa, Gausganj, Uttar Pradesh. This institution is located on a 2.47-acre campus and has three degree programmes for its 649 students. It has the uncontested approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) that serves as evidence of the college’s dedication to the cause of education. The college has 21 faculty members, most of whom are committed teachers who are always willing to offer their best to the students, therefore enhancing the student-teacher ratio.

For academics and research-inclined students or faculty, a modern-equipped library is an analogue of a treasure chest. The institution also has laboratories for each department so as to ensure that students get adequate practical experience as well as a chance to conduct their experiments in relation to their departments. Some of the programmes of study that the Shri Vishram Singh Mahavidyalaya has for the students include: The college provides one full-time course, which is Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), respectively. The table above shows that most of the programme in the institution have affiliated intakes and the D.El.Ed. programme in particular has 50 affiliated intakes—an assurance that the institutions focus on teacher training. These programmes are intended to prepare the students for employment by offering them the required information in their areas of specialisation. 

The admission procedure of Shri Vishram Singh Mahavidyalaya is subject to the course a candidate is willing to take. For the D.El.Ed. programme, it is totally merit-based admission where marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as in the entrance test will be considered. The college may also adopt any other method of selection as may be guided by the Uttar Pradesh government policies.
