Shrimati Shindhutai Jadhav Arts and Science Mahavidyalaya, Mehkar, an affiliated college was established in 1997 at Mehkar in the state of Maharashtra. Located in an 8.2-acre area, this institution offers seven courses in arts and sciences. Shrimati Shindhutai Jadhav Arts and Science Mahavidyalaya offers seven full-time programmes: Undergraduate degree programs include Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and B.Sc (hons). Each of them takes three years to complete. Both programmes were given a total approved intake of two hundred and forty (240) students, but each programme has been zoned to have one hundred and twenty (120) students only. This way there is no bias towards either stream, but students with different academic preferences are given equal attention.

Shrimati Shindhutai Jadhav Arts and Science Mahavidyalaya offers BA and B.Sc courses, and admission to both courses is based on merit.
