ShyaAmangini Kundu College of Education, Murshidabad, established in 2012, is an epoch-making institution of educational excellence in West Bengal. Situated in the small outback town of Salar, the college is dedicated to the academic amelioration of aspiring teachers. In the heart of the village Salar, within an area of 0.748 acres of land, lies college. It is a co-educational college set up under the affiliated-college approved scheme of the university with the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education. It has a total student enrolment of 200 along with a teaching strength of 15 members that provides an atmosphere for learning through an increased interaction for overall personal and professional growth.
