Sidramappa Danigond Memorial Trust’s Danigond Ayurvedic Medical College & Padma Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre, Bagalkot, is a reputated institute involved in the field of Ayurveda education & health care. This affiliated college was set up in 2005 and it is located at Terdal, Taluk Jamakhandi, Bagalkot, Karnataka. CCIM recognised institute along with/ayurveda, bachelor of Ayurveda, medicine and surgery, diploma/degree in Ayurveda, yoga, certificate courses/ ayurveda courses. Situated on the campus area of 10 acres, the college offers total student enrolment capacity of 460 and total faculty strength 57. Currently with nine courses under three degree programmes the institute offers specialisations in different fields of Ayurvedic sciences for both graduate and postgraduate studies.

Sidramappa Danigond Memorial Trust’s Danigond Ayurvedic Medical College & Padma Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre has practical learning intention and aims to have a positive learning environment with accurate facilities. The school has well faculty rooms equipped with audio visual teaching aids like OHP and LCD projectors . The library has a collection of more than 3000 books, clinical videocassettes & CD-ROMs and digital library to connect students with different medical sites. The institution boasts of having a 200 bed hospital, & it has Out Patient Departments specialising in different fields like Kaya Chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, & Shalakya Tantra. The hospital has its male and female wards as well as the semi-special and special rooms, laboratory, as well as X-ray departments. To maintain an integrated approach to students’ development, the college provides the students with sports facilities and gym and has access to the Internet throughout the campus.

The institute provides a wide variety of courses some of which are the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and several masters/ doctoral degrees.

Sidramappa Danigond Memorial Trust's Danigond Ayurvedic Medical College and Padma Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre, Bagalkot is an esteemed one providing various programs in Ayurveda. The college accepts most of its admissions through national-level entrance examinations. For the BAMS program, admissions are made based on the scores of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. BAMS:

MD Programs: Swasthavritta, Agad Tantra, Kriya Sharir, Kaumarbhritya, Kayachikitsa, and Panchakarma are the various MD programs offered by the college. Admission is strictly made on AIAPGET and NEET PG marks. The different specializations have different intakes;

  • MD Swasthavritta: 5
  • MD Agad Tantra: 4
  • MD Kriya Sharir: 3
